Ya, I'm a noob here....and just noticing dA's a HUGE site.....D: With kickass artists...I suddenly feel so insignificant here, and am currently wondering if I could draw anywhere near as good as some people here. Anyway, I'm a bit lost as what to do at this point, now that my profile's set up and everything....I want to make an avitar, but I don't know how....can someone help me? And...as for what to put up in my gallery...um, I've noticed a few people doing requests, so is that ok...? Or should I wait until later for people to see my art style and then ask people to send in their requests? @_@ Wahh, help me, please!

1. To have an avatar, you can always make one in paint (go to "edit profile" to see how big it has to be).
2. You only feel significant because you're new. Once you put up your art and people start to reconize you, you'll start to fit right in
3. About the requests, give it some time. Once people see your talent, you won't have to ask people to send in requests. You'll be getting them left and right
Just relax, explore a little bit each day, and I'm sure you'll get used to it in no time
